Redefining Resilience

For communities that have been historically marginalized and made vulnerable or face ongoing legacies of colonialism and oppression, ‘resilience’ on an individual and community level is often praised or used in ways that sideline or justify inaction on systemic level change. How can we redefine resilience to build more equitable and just communities and advocate for significant and equitable structural change? In this resource, we seek to explore how resilience is both a crucial part of climate wellbeing but must also be navigated with care and an intentional climate justice lens. ✊💜
