Flooding, Mental Health and Wellbeing

The Climate Hub Climate Wellbeing Series seeks to explore and raise awareness about the complex mental health and wellbeing impacts of climate change on people and communities.
Flooding is one of the most common and on the rise climate impacts communities are experiencing.
This resource may offer a touchpoint for people needing to process and navigate the many emotions of experiencing or bearing witness to flooding events magnified by processes of climate change.
In light of the current situation in BC, we extend care and support to those living through the trauma of climate-magnified flooding. Climate action grounded in climate justice is an act of community care and community resilience building. 💙
